2019

Conversion to environmentally friendly refrigerants. R290a is used for standard ice makers with a refrigerant filling quantity of 150 g .
Ice makers with larger refrigerant quantities have been converted to R449a .

2018

Installation of an ice maker with a production capacity of 10 tons in 24 hours using refrigerant R717 in the Wessamat technical center.

Construction of a technical center at the company site. Industrial ice production of hollow cone ice, square full ice and tube ice, including conveyor technology, storage and packaging, is demonstrated live there. Potential customers can thus grasp and "touch" the ice.

2017

First installations of industrial ice makers with square full ice cubes and a production capacity of 1,600 kg in 24 hours .

2016

30th anniversary of Wessamat Eismaschinenfabrik GmbH



Wessamat is awarded 3rd place in the Machinery/Equipment category in the Super Partner election by the GGKA Association among 40 participants. Expansion of the Cube-Line product line with the IC 135 model for the production of square ice cubes and real crushed ice. Development and market launch of an innovative and high-performance composite concept for the energy-efficient production of square ice cubes for commercial and industrial applications.

Technical and process-oriented conception and implementation of industrial ice production including ice storage as well as transport and filling systems for a new ice plant in the fish industry

2014

Expansion of the program to include the Cube-Line product group (ice making machines with injection evaporator) for the production of square full ice cubes

Successful completion of the company succession and takeover of the management by Michael Jäger
